I'm a fantasy-specialist editor with a passion for all things mystical and magical!

I have a particular interest in YA/NA Fantasy, and some of my favourite books are Six of Crows, Girls of Paper and Fire, and To Kill a Kingdom.
My second speciality is fairytale retellings, so bring me your Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, and Beauty and the Beast twists! I'm also a big fan of dystopia. (A la Hunger Games, Maze Runner, and the Handmaid's Tale.)
I'm also interested in all things dark and twisted, and I take a completely unjudgemental approach to the dark corners of your creative mind!

I frequently work with LGBTQIA+ stories and treat each story with the love and respect it deserves. 

I very much believe that editing is a partnership, and I am here to support you on your journey to publication. I will be your biggest cheerleader. My editing style is encouraging, kind, and thoughtful in its approach. I won't shy away from pointing out what needs work, but I will do it with a supportive hand.

I'm based in the quaint town of Bracknell Forest in the southeast of the UK, which is where Harry Potter's house on Privet Drive is located. You might describe my accent as somewhere awkwardly between Queen's regal English and Victorian street urchin. In my spare time, I love playing video games, building Lego, and working on my own writing.

I completed my editorial training with the UK Writers College and Liminal Pages. I'm also a member of the CIEP.
I work with both British and American English, following New Oxford style for the former and CMOS for the latter.

I prefer to be warned about graphic descriptions of bodily fluids (not including blood). These do include faeces, vomit, phlegm, spittle, semen, snot, or anything else that could come from the mouth and/or nasal cavity.
I also prefer warnings regarding animal abuse/murder of any kind, including small animals such as reptiles, rodents, amphibians, arachnids etc.
